Oh, yum. Surprisingly and pleasingly available individually, these are very good indeed. Excellent packaging, with Walker’s Scottish branding evident in the tartan stripe, and a cute graphical snowflake motif incorporating their ‘W’ logo.
Great depth, and a simple, single snowflake embossing.
Very tasty pastry, maybe the best so far this year: salty, and just veering into shortbread territory. Great flavoursome filling, no booze, but a generous spice mix. Absolutely lovely.
And the best bit? These are a ‘Snack’ in Sainsbury’s Meal Deals. So they can be the lunchtime dessert to a turkey sandwich. Excellent teamwork, Walker’s and JS.
